Happy Halloween!

Yes, I am aware that i am posting about Halloween on New Year's Day. It's one of my many New Year's resolutions to keep up with my blogging, So i figured i better catch up with some missed moments! And Halloween 2012 was definitely one to remember. :)
Logan helping daddy carve the pumpkin.
Connor didn't really want to have anything to do with it.

Daddy did a good job.
He even carved a spider on the side. Spooky!

Our little batmans!

Connor and his best buddy Caleb, i mean, Captain America!

The beginning of our adventure to fight crime! Or trick-or-treat. My camera batteries went dead at this point so I didn't get any actual pictures of the trick-or-treating process. But I sure wish i did! Connor was of course, kind of shy, but did the job to get the candy. Logan on the other hand. He decided to invite himself in to one house. Just walked right in and stood around. Opa Tamminga had to go in after him while the rest of us stood outside laughing! What a silly guy.

 Our spooky Halloween house!

Logan's first hair cut.

It had to happen. I tried to hold off as long as we could. But it was just getting too out of control!
 It was a mess!
So I started chopping it off. It only took 22 months, but Logan got his first hair cut!

It took about 4 little suckers to get him to sit still.

Doesn't that look better? It was a two day process, Daddy had to get all the spots mommy missed, but now I am handsome, sophisticated, and looking more like a little boy everyday and less like a baby.

Christmas Extravaganza!

Christmas 2012

This year was so much fun with two little boys who were very excited about Christmas and all that comes with it. We started our Christmas vacation off by visiting cousins and Uncle Josh and Aunt Sarah (and the new baby) in Colorado. We got chinese food and took it back to the hotel and tried eating with chopsticks.

We did the 25 days of Christmas books and one of the books was a Harry Potter pop-up book. Best book ever!

Playing in the snow with cousins!

 Pre-Christmas Dinner!

Christmas morning! Logan was very excited about the Nerf guns!
Connor was pretty excited about his Mobigo2 (a little handheld video game)
Logan opening his new learning train!

Sticking to our tradition of going over to my parents and opening presents in our pajamas! Logan was pretty burnt out at opening presents at this point and just rolled around on the ground.
Playing on their new easel. I think they like it!
Connor (and daddy) especially love the log cabin building set from his Aunty Coco. :)

Merry Christmas everyone! And many blessings on the coming year!
