So this past week was Dan's second spring break so we decided to not spend the whole break working on our yard and take a little trip down to Ruidoso, NM. Looking forward to meeting up with Dan's brother Josh and his wife, Sarah and our niece Arissa. So we packed up our stuff and headed out Thursday morning. We found a wonderful campsite close to Bonito Lake, and set up camp. That night we woke up to Connor screaming and realized he was very hot, took his temp and it was 101.7, gave him so baby Tylenol and kept an eye on his temp. It was a long night to say the least, we woke up every 30 minutes to a crying,
unhappy baby. So Friday we called Josh and Sarah and said we would come to them in Las Cruces and leave for Gallup Saturday. So the trip was a bust, but we did get to see some beautiful sites and Connor did have some fun. Oh we also woke up to tons of deer Friday morning. They just wandered into the campsite and paid no mind to us. We had a lot of fun but maybe we will stick to going to the cabin for now.
