November Videos

Logan has recently learned how to wave hello. It's super cute:

The boys have been playing in their room a lot lately. One day I heard lots of giggling and jumping so I went in to check it out:

Connor's Three!

It's hard to believe 3 years have already come and gone! What a sweet and caring little man we have! Connor is a great big brother and is very protective of him. He is super active and loves climbing and running at full speed. He loves helping mom in the kitchen and loves singing. He got the best of Dan and I (and a little of the worst:) What a blessing this little guy has been! :o)
A Go Diego tricycle from Opa & Oma Deleeuw. He loves riding this around the house. And soon he'll be able to use the pedals!
A magnetic train set from Great Grandma Tamminga
Binoculars and overall shorts from Mom & Dad
Boots doll from his friend Vanessa
I made these cute owl masks for the party. Get the pattern here: http://atticclothes.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/diy-halloween-felt-animal-masks-quick-easy-and-cheap/
I made these cute puzzles out of pictures i printed out and popsicle sticks, they went in the goody bags.

Connor was actually really good at them. I think I'll do some more for his school.

Mama Owl and her babies :o)
I got the inspiration from here:

Connor loved playing with all his toys. But he especially loved his Elmo costume and cowboy set.

Trick or Treat!

This year we decided to do Mr. Potato Head Pumpkins rather than carving. It was a lot of fun and much neater.
Connor loved his pumpkins so much that he carried it around for days calling it his baby and singing Happy Birthday to it. :)

This year Oma and Opa DeLeeuw came trick or treating with us. Logan was the most adorable little pumpkin and was wide eyed the whole time, checking everybody out. Connor was the cutest little pirate! He loved going to each house and getting candy but we couldn't get him to say trick or treat, perhaps next year! He loved it so much he kept saying: "Just ONE more treat..."

This was our first year trick or treating in our neighborhood and it was very cool! This house had a magical broom, smoke machine, a monster that popped out at you when you walked by and the bushes talked to you. Connor was a bit overwhelmed and as soon as he got his candy he was out of there! :)
Logan looks so big here!
What a fun Halloween!

F is For:

Fish!

We went to the aquarium in Albuquerque (a two hour drive from our house) and saw lots of cool fish including the sting rays feeding time, which was super cool!

I got this idea from http://pinterest.com/pin/317592525/ to do this fun activity with Connor. He loved it! We filled up the bath tup with all his magnetic letters and put a clip on the end of a stick with some string. He came up with a game all by himself to find all the e's. Smart boy!

I got this One Fish Printable from: http://www.obseussed.com/2010/08/1-fish-2-fish-interactive-printable.html and Connor did a very good job of putting one fish in each bowl. Maybe later we'll be able to count out the fish and put that many in each bowl.
He liked sneaking the goldfish more...
We read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss
F is for Food!
We made French Fries and Fish and Chips

 Logan LOVES fruit loops!
We played the Fruit Shadow game!
We went through all my food magazines and found fruit and cut them out and glued them to our plate.
