Zoo & Aquarium
Today we took Connor to the Rio Grande Zoo and to the Botanical Gardens/Aquarium. Connor liked feeding the ducks and the birds, but was really more interested in the Aquarium. He couldn't get to the fish tanks fast enough. And when he did get to one he would push his way through the crowds and put his face up against the glass and say "wow". It was very cute. I think we may have a future marine biologist in our midst!

Explora!
We had some fun today at the Explora museum in Albuquerque. We met Dan's mom there and Connor had a blast running from station to station. He especially loved the water and music stations. I was impressed with how interested and engaged Connor was with some of the activities. So now the little guy is fast asleep and soon mommy and daddy will be too!

Musicgarten
Every Wednesday morning Connor and I go to musicgarten. Connor really enjoys it, he especially loves working with the instruments and hoops. This past week my mom was able to come and watch, here are a few pics and videos of that day.

Vegetable Garden
So this year my goal is to plant a vegetable garden to make my own marinara sauce and salsa. I tried last spring to grow tomatoes, squash, strawberries and a couple herbs, but it didn't really work out. This year I went out and bought seeds and have planted them in individual little pots. I've also done some research so my hope is to grow a successful garden. I've started all the veggies and herbs in my porch, which is a perfect little greenhouse, and then I will move them to pots and raised flower beds when they are ready. I thought it might be fun to plot my progress, if it all turns out okay, if not this is probably the last post you'll see on the matter! Here are some pics of the beginning process. You'll see I've planted: 4 different types of tomatoes, zucchini, summer squash, jalapenos, bell pepper, green onion, chives, cilantro, sweet basil, cilantro, & Italian parsley.
